Overview
Wildlearn is an outdoor school that brings learning back to nature, fostering curiosity, well-being, and connection through immersive experiences. Their belief (that the best classroom has no walls) shaped a brand identity rooted in warmth, calm, and exploration.

My Role
I led the creative development of Wildlearn’s evolving brand identity, working to reflect the school's mission through thoughtful, nature-inspired design. The goal was to create a cohesive look that felt inviting, grounded, and aligned with the school's values.
Creative Direction
The visual identity draws on earthy greens, warm yellows to reflect Wildlearn’s connection to nature and child-led energy and learning. I combined clean sans-serif typography with an hand-drawing looking typeface logo to balance clarity and warmth, while subtle iconography (leaves, trees, paths, soft shapes) adds a playful organic touch.
Logo
The Wildlearn
logo developed through multiple stages of exploration, from testing a range of typefaces to experimenting with nature-inspired iconography. After refining various directions, a slightly handwritten font was selected to reflect the school’s organic, child-centered approach.
Final logo
The final logo features a distinctive tent-shaped letter “A” in Wildlearn, subtly evoking the spirit of forest camping and outdoor exploration, capturing both the playfulness and grounded ethos of the brand.
Imagery style
Photography
plays a key role in the brand, using candid imagery of children engaged in outdoor exploration to build authenticity and emotional connection.
Deliverables
I’ve helped shape the identity across multiple brand touch points:
Trifold leaflet for parent outreach
• Printed brochure introducing the school’s vision
• Branded merchandise, including tote bags
• Ongoing work across website design and social media templates.
Wildlearn’s brand continues to grow, and this foundational work sets the tone for all future design, expressing a safe, joyful space where children are free to explore, learn, and thrive.
